1、 Air source pressure and flow issues
• Reason: Insufficient pressure or flow rate of the air source may result in poor movement of internal components of the actuator, leading to excessive heat generation.
• Solution: Check if the air source pressure is sufficient and if the flow rate meets the requirements. If there are any issues, consider increasing the size of the actuator or providing appropriate lubrication to improve the working conditions of the actuator.
2、 Internal component failure of actuator
• Reason: Mechanical components such as pistons and gears inside the actuator may generate heat due to wear, jamming, and other reasons.
• Solution: Disassemble the actuator, check the stuck parts and solve them, such as replacing worn parts, removing stuck foreign objects, etc., and then reassemble.
3、 Electromagnetic valve issue
• Reason: The coil of the solenoid valve may generate heat due to excessive current, decreased insulation performance, and other reasons.
• Solution: Check if the solenoid valve is functioning properly and if the coil is burnt out. If there is a problem, replace the solenoid valve or coil. At the same time, ensure that the selection of solenoid valves is matched with the power supply to avoid overheating caused by prolonged power on.
4、 Environmental temperature and heat dissipation issues
• Reason: High ambient temperature or poor heat dissipation of the actuator may cause heating.
• Solution: Improve the heat dissipation conditions of the actuator, such as adding heat sinks, fans, and other heat dissipation devices. At the same time, avoid the actuator working in a high-temperature environment for a long time.
5、 Other factors
• Reason: The actuator may be affected by external vibration sources, such as equipment pipeline vibration, which can cause internal components to move poorly and generate heat.
• Solution: Carefully identify the vibration source and eliminate the vibration. If the equipment pipeline is cleaned and readjusted to eliminate its vibration.
